Aura Dane growled softly as she stood on the edge of the building, placing her hands on her hips as she narrowed her ice-blue gaze. The wolf half closed her eyes an shook her head. "I con't seem tae find any jobs on the on' of the most croweded planets in the blinkin' Lylat Syte'm!" She sighed, placing her hand to her face as her lashed eyes closed before she turned around and sat on the ledge, positioning herself so she was side ways. "I'll prab'mly end up with the theif job again... darn..." She shook her head sighing as midday wore on. She opened her eyes half way and watched the blue sky's roaming clouds wander aimlessly.
The wolf let one of her legs dangle from the ledge of the buildings as she let out an exasperated sigh. SHe was boared, nothing to do around here, with the exception of a couple of jobs in engineering and mechanics, but she wasn't good with stuff like that. She shook her head slowly, adjusting her black rimmed goggles to pull her short hair back. A couple of strands stuck out, but this was of no concern to her as she put her hair up in a sort pony tail.

[[Hmm, I guess I'll reply with Sky. This'll be after his interrogation]]
Sky watched his feet as he walked, his right hand firmly grasping the strap of his sniper rifle, slung on his shoulder. In his mouth rested a toothpick. He always had one when he needed to calm down. He was given a black and silver pair of pants and a black and silver jacket, which he wore open, exposing his chest. He had the sleeves roughly rolled up to his elbows. Why did he have this uniform? Cornerian Defenses thought a suitable punishment for his creation of that perfect robot, which was actually illegal, would be for him to have to help defend the one factory in a few days on Sauria.
So, Sky of course was ticked off. He'd have to work udner Fox's command, the very guy who'd interrogated him.

(Gotcha) Aura smirked as she caught sight of the mouse. She half closed her ice-blue gaze before she got up, looking down at the mouse on the ground. The wolf jumped down, landing lightly on the city streets, however the sound she mad could be heard by Sky's ears, nonetheless. The black wolf darted to the opposite side, slipping steathfully into the Shadow, her ice blue eyes faint glow hidden as she blended withe dark shadows.
The wolf's smirk widened to a grin as she darted forward, slipping into the Shadows again before she steathfully creeped up behind Sky and gripped his shoulders with her firm grasp. She was about the same height as Sky, however she was younger... so that might explain a bit. She put her mouth to his ear and snarled loudly. "Boo!"

Sky's ears did indeed pick up the sound, but did he care? No. He was still too mad, and uptight to really care about those around him. Something made him feel awkward as he walked, but he couldn't place his finger on it. Luckily, he was answered for him by Aura. His eyes widened, he got stiff, and his teeth snapped down on the toothpick breaking it in half. After a second or two, he realized who it was, and rolled his eyes.
He turned around facing the beautiful wolf, and spitting out the remainder of the toothpick to the side. Normally he'd ignore someone who tried to talk to him, but his rivalry was something special with Aura. "Whatya want Aura? Last time I checked, you were still pickpocketing." He accused, checking his pockets immediately.

Aura smirked and closed her eyes repling," Yep, I'm a theif at tae moment. But that's because there aren't any jobs worth for me to do..." The black wolf smiled and pointed to Sky," Unless ye got one fer me?" She clasped her hands behind her back and smiled gamingly at Sky, as if to challenge him to say anything. The black wolf smirked held up her other hand, holding up a small sheet of paper between her black fingers. "I'm still good at it, aren't ah?" She asked, picking up his free hand and placing the note into his hand which she stole out of his pocket.
The wolf smirked smuggly, she had a special riverly with Sky as well, and usually wouldn't tease people like this like she did with him. She snickered lightly as she let go of his hand and placed her hands on her hips," Anda last teem I checked, ye were an engineer."

Sky had his brows quirked high, as she slipped the paper back into his hand, which he finished the transaction by placing it back in his pocket. Yeah, you still are good...that's for sure... He thought, looking her up and down. Still as beautiful as ever as well....hmm, shame you keep yourself as a thief.... Sky smirked at her comment about him being an engineer. " Yeah, unfortunately, I still am...well was..." He said, thinking of Sauria, which in a way he had doomed didn't he? He created that robot, a perfect host for that sole bug.
" If you're doing any of your thieve missions, stay away from Sauria..." He warned, not showing much emotion in his words, but in his eyes. " That's warning..."

Aura shifted her weight and tilted her head to the side. "I am not a true theif, ye know that, Sky. I do many jobs if there worh it. I do Bounty hunting, mercenary, favors, and many otter things for a reasonable price." She said, counting the many jobs she did on her fingers. The black wolf half closed her eyes. "Geez, ye had to perk my curiousity, didn't, you Sky? But I'll take your warning seriously... this time." The wolf smirked and half closed her blue gaze, watching the emotion swirl and sparkle in his eyes. She tryed changing the subject," Well, what are you doing in Corneria?"

Sky watched her every movement as she spoke, his midnight blue eyes not faltering. Now, it was his turn to speak again. Why was he here? Well, mainly to get rest before he had to go to Sauria. He sighed. Should he tell her everything?...Heck no! He scratched the back of his neck with his free hand. " Well, I'm getting some decent rest before I have got to back to Sauria..." He put simply and emotionless. I still can't believe this. They shouldn't need me. Starfox is enough, and its not even that big of a number of infected creatures heading towards the factory...

Aura tilted her head to the side and half closed her eyes, a smile curving around her snout. "Why not a fri'ndly competition, eh?" She asked, holding up her hand and pointing to Sky's sniper rifle. Aura smiled almost inncocently as she said," And why not some fri'ndly areial combat, as well, eh?" The black wolf batted her eyelashes, withdrawing her own sniper rifle from her back. She clasped her hands together in the rifle as she shifted her weight, biting her lower lip to make a pleading expression on her face. He better 'ave some competition wit me, or I just might 'ust go to Sauria...

Sky knew what she was trying to do. This is how she got him int he situation with his instructor that lead to him back talking and getting himself kicked out. A 'friendly' competition. Sky thought back to the Academy briefly. Aura was advanced, which is the reason she was in some of his classes....he banished the memories quickly though. Now wasn't the time.
His eyes wandered the streets carelessly before locking back on Aura. " Dunno Aura. You know you're a better pilot than me." He protested, pulling out a toothpick and slipping it into his mouth. He shook his head at her pleading expression.

"Marksmenship, den? Ye know you were better at the acedemy, but I tinks I can atleast measure up, eh?" Aura asked, as she straightened up. Indeed a spot of 'friendly competiton' also got herself kick out. Another student made fun of her odd accent, so Aura challenged her to a 'liddle fri'nly comotetion in areial combat'. No fury is like a women's when she has been insulted... which is why she shot her down, however the other student didn't die, just a couple of scratches here and there, and besides her arwing was OK... despite the fact that both wings were blown off. Yet, the student was a drama queen and went crying to the headmaster, for reasons Aura didn't see why. Graduation day she recived her degrees, however she was suppose to practice to become a mentor, but she was kicked out.

Sky was deeply hesitant at first. Aura was probably going to get them in trouble again. But then again, Sky could proove that he wasn't rusty from being an engineer for the past three years. He sighed, debating mentally what to do. Finally, he chewed slightly on his toothpick, and nodded. " Alright, I'm game Aura. You win. What's the challenge?" He asked blankly. He had just been manipulated by her again! She always knew a way to get Sky to come to her side when it came to having 'competitions'. As long as I don't get arrested AGAIN, then I guess I can do this with her.

Aura smiled at Sky before looking around for a suitable target. She turned around, spotting a sign that was fairly far away. "What about dat sign, eh, Sky? It's abit near the corner though, 'bout diagonally, mayhaps a bit off." Aura said, holding her chin," Hit tey very center of it, and you win, if I hit tey center, I win. Unless ye want to wager somethin', there is no catch. Ye can shot first, Sky." The black wolf scratched the back of her ear before examining her sniper rifle before holding the scope to her eye. "Ye gonna shoot er are ye going to make me stand here all day?"

Sky smirked and kept the toothpick firmly in place now. His position suddenly hardened and he gave a gamely smile. He shut his one eye that wasn't in the scope and knelt down. " Hmmph....piece of cake...and there is no wager...unless you have one..." He said hesitating on his shot. And before she could make the wager, he shot, hitting dead center. Slowly he stood up smiling. " You're up." He said cooly.

Aura rolled her ice-blue eyes and narrowed her gaze as she held up the scope to her right. She did not close both eyes, however. The black fox pulled the trigger, the red blast instantly shooting out from the rifle, traveling swiftly it also hit the center. She let go of one hand and put her free hand to her chin before saying," Seems I didn't pick a good enough target... Hmm...." The wolf narrowed her gaze over to the sign, seemed like her's was a bit off, not even by a centimeter. "Ah shoot, well, ye win, Sky. I lost by not even a centi'eter." She said, humming softly before remarking," Well, you ain't as rust as I thought, Sky.... you still can't beat me as a pilot, though." She smirked, reliving her rifle to her back. She suddenly tapped her comm, half closing her narrowed eyes as a gargled voice came through the comm. She turned away from Sky for a moment closing her eyes before she tapped the comm again, turning it off. She shook her head slowly and asked," I was wonderin' me old pal, whatcha going to do at Sauria?"
